As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Kheir is dedicated to delivering culturally responsive care to one of Los Angeles’s most underserved and linguistically diverse communities. We remain committed to providing high-quality care to all patients, regardless of income, immigration status, or background. Each year, our multilingual staff deliver services in 28 languages, including English, Bangla, Korean, Spanish, and Thai, across primary care, dental, optometry, behavioral health, and adult day health programs.
Our patient population faces a high prevalence of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, exacerbated by a range of social determinants of health. This environment offers residents meaningful exposure to complex clinical scenarios, allowing them to strengthen their expertise while advancing health equity in a dynamic, high-need community.
