Program Highlights
The Kheir FMRP is grounded in immersive, hands-on learning, and a strong commitment to serving underserved communities. During the three year program, the residents build clinical expertise, cultural competence, and leadership skills essential for thriving as compassionate, lifelong family physicians.
Residents participate in a wide range of scheduled rotations across diverse healthcare settings. Each rotation is structured to develop core competencies in family medicine while fostering independent decision-making and collaborative care.
Kheir is committed to providing residents with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits that support well-being, career development, and work-life balance.
Our residency program follows the guidelines set by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Each resident receives a total of 21 calendar days of combined paid time off (PTO). These days are designated to support resident well-being by promoting mental and physical health.
Meaningful relationships are a cornerstone of both personal well-being and professional growth. Residents will enjoy regular social events, wellness activities, and team-building opportunities to foster a supportive, collaborative community within each cohort.
