Training Sites

Situated on a prime corner in Koreatown’s commercial district, Kheir’s Wilshire Clinic 100 and Wilshire Clinic 120 locations serve as the primary training sites for residents completing outpatient rotations. The multilingual team of medical professionals at these locations provide primary care, dental, optometry, and behavioral health services to a diverse patient population, while the Kheir Pharmacy in Suite 110 offers convenient access to prescription medications, all under one roof.

Less than a mile away from the Wilshire Clinic sites, the Kheir-S. Mark Taper Foundation Community Clinic is Kheir’s original clinic location, providing one-stop access to primary care, behavioral health, and human services since 2006. At this clinic, residents will not only complete additional outpatient rotations but will also actively participate in community outreach activities hosted onsite, creating opportunities for connection and the cultivation of relationships with patients and local residents.

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) was one of the first hospitals established in Los Angeles, opening its doors to the community in 1924. Today, HPMC has evolved into a 434-bed acute care facility with more than 500 physicians representing nearly every specialty. HPMC serves as the primary training site for residents completing inpatient rotations, providing valuable, hands-on experience with a variety of disciplines, including emergency medicine, critical care, and surgery.

L.A. Downtown Medical Center’s Downtown Campus is located at the intersection of three of Los Angeles’ oldest neighborhoods – Historic Filipino Town, Echo Park, and Silver Lake. This safety-net community hospital provides a wide range of primary and specialty care services for a culturally diverse patient population. As a premier provider of psychiatric acute care, L.A. Downtown Medical Center serves as the training site for inpatient rotations in behavioral health and psychiatry.
